It’s a great experience to be in Sydney. The city has much to offer, from beautiful walks through the parks, looking around at the many markets, relax on the terrace restaurants in the beautiful harbors, and swimming beaches, surfing and more challenging walks. If you are thinking about to visit Sydney, make sure you take plenty of time. Also, make sure you have good transportation so you will not lose much time going by public transportation. Perhaps renting car at Car Rental Sydney would be the best solution because there is so much to see and do. You can spend one year in Sydney and not see the same thing twice.
Sydney Day 1
Start at the Harbour Bridge. Climb on top for spectacular views of the Opera House. Walk to the Opera House for further inspection. This is visible from the bridge and getting lost is impossible. The Botanical Gardens are right next to the Opera House. Take a ferry to Manly. The ferry is great, and you get the best views of the Opera House from the water. Manly is one of the most famous beaches in Sydney (along with Bondi). There are some lovely walks in the area, but always make sure you bring enough water and sunscreen. If you do not like hiking, the beach is the perfect place to relax! Find your way from here to Town Hall. This is where the Sydney Tower is. It’s best to visit just before sunset. Then you get to enjoy wide view of the light, and then watch the sunset and the sea of ââlights in the city. Sydney Tower has a restaurant that slowly rotates. So you can eat and enjoy the view at once!
Sydney Day 2
Visit Darling Harbour and surrounding area. Darling Harbour has lots of nice shops and good restaurants and bars. At Darling Harbour you will find the Sydney Aquarium. There are many kinds of sea creatures such as manatees, sea turtles, sharks, rays, penguins and seals. There also live a platypus and a crocodile. On the other side of Darling Harbour, Pyrmont, the Sydney Fish Market. Here they sell all kinds of fish and seafood. The Sydney Fish Market is great to wander around, and outside on the terrace you can enjoy your lunch just bought. Now you can walk to Hyde Park. This is a beautiful park, with the Anzac Memorial on the side. On the other side of Hyde Park is the Australian Museum with great exhibits on Aboriginal art and their way of life. In the evening Kings Cross is a good place to eat out, and into the early hours of the morning dancing, basically any night of the week is.
Sydney Day 3
First you sleep in at a wild night out in Kings Cross. And then one day it’s time to relax. Go to the Bondi beach. This is a very artistic neighborhood with bars and restaurants. The beach is great for swimming and to learn how to surf. Dolphins are regular sightings, so keep an eye on. For activating among us, there is a walk from Bondi to Coogee. It is 5 km long and takes about 2 hours. You walk on the rocks near the sea, the cliffs and along comes some more beautiful and secluded beaches. Coogee is a beach where you can sunbathe. Bondi and although a little more (and a little better) choice in terms of restaurants, you can also eating out in Coogee.
